There are many of us, myself included, who try to do all the healthy stuff at one time. Implementing way too many healthy things at once. I found out the hard way that is a sure fire way to an epic fail. Start out slow. Our first healthy habit was to get in the habit of drinking more water. Instead of reaching for that soda, coffee or sugary drink, reach for a bottle of water. Or for those who do not like the taste of water, try water with different fruit or vegetables to make it a bit more palatable.
